Interview

"Playing in Australia, i can honestly say i am really settling into the international game. Pick and rolls were not a huge focus of the offense where i played in college. I really enjoy that part of the game, reading and reacting to the defense off the pick-and-roll. this is definitely key to settling into the game at this level."

Journey Begins

After a short time away from competitive basketball following a 4 year college career, Jordan started his professional career in 2012, playing for the Springfield Xpress of the IBA-PBL (Independent Basketball League-Premier Basketball League). In his rookie season, he put up averages of 13 ppg and 4 rpg.

For most athletes in college, graduation represents the end of their athletic careers. Add that to the list of reasons why Kappen isn't like most athletes. Kappen's relationship with basketball goes beyond just a game. He feels inescapably linked to it. Its a bond he is fighting to keep.

His basketball journey has now taken him to an opportunity to play in Australia and Italy.
